AP ExamThe next AP exam will be administered on Wednesday, May 19, 2021.
Students can earn college credit by scoring well on the AP exam. Some colleges will give credit for a score of 3 on the AP exam, though many require a score of 4 or 5. Slight changes to the AP Exam format may be made each year. For the most up-to-date information, visit the College Board's AP US History Exam website. SOL TestAll students must also take and pass the SOL test for Virginia & U.S. History a few weeks after they take the AP exam. The test will consist of approximately 70 multiple choice questions. Students must score a 400 to be considered “Proficient” and a 500 to score “Advanced Proficient.” A perfect score is a 600.
